The tenor Robert Bartneck, born in Hanover, is characterized by his versatility. In addition to his wide-ranging song and concert activities, he is equally at home in the light lyrical repertoire of opera as he is in the buffo repertoire, where he also impresses with his acting qualities.

In June 2024 Robert Bartneck will make his first appearance at the Sankt Gallen Festival.
Here he will be heard as Demetrius in Henry Purcell's opera The Fairy Queen.
